Alonzo Mourning Teams Up with NKF

Alonzo Mourning, NBA World Champion and his wife Tracy Wilson have joined the fight against Kidney Disease. They have teamed together with the National Kidney Fund (NKF) in launching the Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP). This FREE program was designed to promote awareness for people at risk of chronic kidney disease. Tracy’s Honey Child Clothing Collection has also designed a tee shirt to help raise money to increase the organ donor rate.

AKF Announces the 2007 Patient Scholarship Program

The American Kidney Fund has announced its 2007 Patient Scholarship Program. “Scholarships will be awarded for education or training in nephrology related health professions.” This is a great opportunity for those with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
